Weekly Round-up

This week we had some more foreign visitors! 14 Japanese students from our sister school Shinano Junior High traveled all the way from Japan to visit our school. Unfortunately, nobody from our class was a homestay, so we didn't really have much to do with them, but it was still a very fun experience for both them and us.

The seven AIMS students from our class have also just performed their speeches. There were some very good performances and the standard was set very high. Topics included Aliens, 2012, Gambling and Fitness, and all were very good.

Thats all for this week, thank you and goodbye!

Korean Homestays

In weeks 1 and 2 our school received 30 students from Solvit Middle School in South Korea. Some of our students paired up with them and helped them out at school while they learned more about our culture, language and daily life. Room 4 3/4 had two of these buddies and so we got two awesome and smart Korean students to stay with us for 2 weeks. Here is Edward and Yong Min, the 2 Korean students that came to our class:
Sadly, the students left last week, on Friday. It was a great experience having them, and the we all miss every single one of them.
